St. Valentine's Day, a day representing love and passion for many, is a perfect time to remind people of what it means to care for one another and be responsible in our sexuality.
The international Condoms4Life campaign, a project of Catholics for a Free Choice, is launching a St. Valentine's Day ad campaign in three cities that are among the most hard-hit in the US: New York, San Francisco and Washington DC. With images of loving couples, the ads declare:
We believe in God.
We believe that sex is sacred.
We believe in caring for each other.
We believe in using condoms.
Listen to an engaging conversation between CFFC president Frances Kissling and Sister Maureen Fielder, host of Public Radio's Interfaith Voices for an illuminating discussion about HIV/AIDS prevention, condoms, bishops and building a true culture of life.
