It scorns the important Catholic principle of social justice by putting at risk further vulnerable communities – like low-income women, rural communities, and communities of color – which Catholic teaching asks us to prioritize and support. It diminishes the fundamental freedom of religion by enshrining into public law one set of religious beliefs.”
