Become a Digital Shepherd with Catholics for Choice
We advocate for reproductive rights because of our faith, not in spite of it. Our mission is to empower and mobilize the pro-choice Catholic faithful to take action — and now, we’re seeking Digital Shepherds to help spread the word.
What is the Digital Shepherds Program?
The Digital Shepherds program is designed for those who want to support reproductive rights but can’t fully commit to attending lobby days or hosting local events. As a Digital Shepherd, you’ll receive training and tools to help share your pro-choice Catholic values online. This can be as simple as sharing CFC’s content on your social media, sending emails about our latest petitions, or or educating your friends, family, or community on current events using our messaging. .
This is an opportunity meant to fit into your schedule, so your role as a Digital Shepherd can be as immersive as you want it to be. There will be plenty of opportunities to increase your involvement — or to take a step back when you’re busy.
As a Digital Shepherd, you’ll encounter, educate, and embolden fellow pro-choice Catholics by sharing and amplifying CFC’s message online.
What You’ll Need:
- 10 minutes per month to take action
- An online presence to engage your peers (whether you have a few contacts or thousands of followers)
- A passion for pro-choice Catholicism
What CFC Will Provide:
- Training and messaging toolkits
- Guidance on how to personalize your advocacy based on your voice and capacity
- Digital mobilization tools to help you amplify CFC’s message
