“I am baptized and confirmed Catholic, and I baptized my son in the faith. I believe deeply in free will and basic human rights. I greatly value the social justice component of the faith, and this belief was strengthened during all of my years of Catholic schooling. I hadn’t heard of Catholics for Choice until last year, which is very disappointing and proves the strong right-wing efforts to silence the free choice position. I have often wanted to leave the church, but this group and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice have given me hope to change the church from the inside.”
