“Who am I to judge? Everyone is welcome in my Father’s house. Love your neighbor as yourself. If you are not welcome in a house, shake the dust of your feet and get out of there. I love my Catholic faith, and I refuse to have it made into a political bully pulpit. If Jesus Christ came down now, he would be turning over tables at the Vatican and every bishop’s abode and claiming, “My house of prayer (God), you’ve made it a den of thieves.” I have had parishioners refuse to speak to me because they have the nerve (read un-Christian) to say I am not a “true” Catholic. Hypocrites, all of them. I have told my diocese archbishop to get the pro-life and anti-LGBTQ+ movements OUT of the Catholic church/faith. It absolutely goes against the teachings of Christ. I hold my head high and go to Mass every Sunday.”
