CATHOLICS FOR CHOICE INTRODUCES NEW LOGO & WEBSITE

Rebranding ushers-in new chapter for world’s largest Catholic pro-choice organization

WASHINGTON — Today, Catholics for Choice (CFC), which lifts up the voices of the majority of Catholics who believe in reproductive freedom and equality for all people, introduced a new logo and website, the first such significant change for the organization in decades, meant to reflect a new chapter of focus and advocacy efforts for the world’s largest pro-choice Catholic organization.

Catholics for Choice President Jamie L. Manson said the following:

“In the months since I became President of Catholics for Choice, we quickly determined there was a need to completely change our organizational outlook so that it encompasses all intersections with reproductive freedom, from dismantling white supremacy to advocating for LGBTQ-inclusive laws. Our new logo and website are just the beginning of what we expect will be a pivotal and transformative new chapter at a time when the relationship between the Catholic church and issues related to abortion, contraceptive access and religious liberty have come into critical focus. In this new era, we will be the preeminent voice for feminist, pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ, pro-equality Catholics in this country who believe it is essential that Catholicism center the struggles of the most marginalized in society. We want to make social justice-minded Catholicism accessible to all.”

The new logo for Catholics for Choice was designed by artist Nicole LaRue, who also designed the iconic logo for the Women’s March.
