Yes on 1: Reproductive Freedom in Virginia
We are excited to announce that Catholics for Choice is campaigning in support of Virginia’s Reproductive Freedom Amendment! 
Virginians deserve to be trusted to make decisions about their bodies, their families, and their futures — and Amendment 1 would enshrine this fundamental right in Virginia’s constitution. As pro-choice Catholics, we believe reproductive decisions belong to individuals, not politicians, legislators, or religious hierarchies. Amendment 1 would protect people’s ability to make deeply personal decisions about pregnancy, abortion, contraception, and reproductive healthcare.

Across the country, politicians have used abortion bans and restrictions to impose one religious and political vision on everyone. Virginia has an opportunity to reject that approach and affirm that people of different faiths deserve the freedom to make their own decisions.
We will bring the pro-choice Catholic voice to the forefront of this fight, showing that faith and support for reproductive freedom are not mutually exclusive. In fact, supporting reproductive freedom is consistent with Catholic social teaching — which is why we’re asking you to support our campaign today!
